Lullaby / Berceuse

Put your arms around me
Here at last you’ve found me
Stay within the circle of my arms
Though someday you’ll leave me
That is how it should be
And until then, I’ll keep you safe
And free from harm
Eyes that see right through me
It’s as though you knew me
Unafraid and trusting in my sight
Come along to bed now
Cover up your head, now
Your mama’s here
And everything will be all right

Mon enfant, approche-toi
Enfin tu me trouves, la
Viens, que je te serre entre mes bras
Bien qu’un jour tu me quitteras
C’est comme il se doit
Pours toujours, ne t’en fait pas
le sure est là
Tes yeux me regarde
Tu cherche ma confiance
Pour, suivre son crainte tons chemins
Allons nous coucher, maintenant
Calme-toi, mon cher enfant
Mama est là, et maintenant tout ira bien
